At the southern tip of the 1,000-mile Baja California Peninsula is a land of stark and mysterious beauty — Los Cabos. Its social center is the town of Cabo San Lucas. Once a simple fishing village, Cabo bustles with activity, with upscale restaurants, numerous shops and an abundance of nightlife that captivates its visitors. The ecology of Los Cabos is a contrast to behold — where the vast desert wilderness meets the deep blue Pacific. For the more active, some of the world’s best sport fishing can be found in Los Cabos. For water-sports enthusiasts, there is everything from surfing to snorkeling, scuba to jet skiing.
